Dear all,
As promised, our talent hunt will go underway this year! With the next Acoustics planned in March/April, Shortie Entertainment will be auditioning for an oriental artist to perform at Acoustics. Not sure if you qualify? Do you:
a) Have an interest in singing and performance and want to take it further?
b) Believe you have the talent, but not sure how to get into the music industry?
c) Willing to give up at least one afternoon/evening a week to dedicate to
music?
If you have answered yes to either a) or b), then you qualify! From the auditions we will select one person, and that lucky male/female will receive:
1) A exclusive track written for them courtesy of Frivalous Entertainment, who supply all the performers for Acoustics.
2) Training on singing and performance techniques.
3) FREE studio time with an experienced producer and engineer to practise and record.
4) A demo CD with all your recorded tracks.
5) A performance slot at the next Acoustics event with backing musicians.
As you may have noticed, this is not like other singing competitions. We're not interested in a karaoke competition, it is our aim to give any budding singers the full opportunity to learn about the music industry, and what it entails. We do not guarantee a record contract, just the the chance to feel and experience what the music business is really like from the inside.

Date: Sunday 22nd January
Time: 7-10pm
Venue: 1st floor, Gallery Rendezvous, 53-55 Beak Street, LONDON, W1R 3LF
There will be a guitar and keyboard set up should you wish to use them, although if you have your own you are welcome to bring them. Alternatively, if you have your own karaoke cd you can bring that to use as your backing.
