Bae Yong Jun profile

South Korean boy bang formed in 2006 by YG Entertainment, was chronicled by the TV series Big Bang Documentary which aired in Korea. The band signed for YG Entertainment and released their first EP in 2007. In the follewing year they also released hit EPs such as Hot Issue and Stand Up.


Their success was attributed in awards from MNet and Seoul Gayo and encouraged the band to expand their activities into the Japanese market.

In 2009, big Bang became the most searched artist in South Korea and also recieved various awards in Japan for their performances, their members also branched out into solo careers (GD, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri).
